DO'S AND DONT'S

Here are some tips for travelers from my experience

While in London

Make sure you have spare memory cards for your mobile phones or cameras so that you dont miss any shots. Above that there are shops that sell them and try to rip you off. I was offered a 4 GB SD card near the Buckingham Palace shop for a huge price of 40 pounds.

While in the tube station, always stay on the right side. You are in London for a great time but you have to respect the local people commuting to and from work. You can notice them walking at a great pace.

Do not be tempted to jump into the first eatery. Walk around the block and you will often find other choices that are cheaper. Tesco is a good option to pick up a cold or hot dinner.

Do not be tempted to participate in street gambling. Especially on Westminster bridge you can notice small groups of people mostly East Europeans who sit down and invite people to gamble. You will definitely notice few people winning up to a couple of hundred pounds, but that's their bait to get you hooked. The people who win belong to their group and it is their trick. Stay away from scam.

Do not try to buy any stuff off the street. People may try to sell you stolen goods.

Keep your wallets safe. Pick pocketing can happen so beware.

Make sure you visit the pound shop. Everything is under 1 pound and you can pick up great stuff.

Unless you have free breakfast with the room deal, do not buy breakfast from the hotels. You will end up paying a huge amount for something not that worthy. You can easily pick up breakfast from other outlets around 5-7 pounds.

Bargain with the Taxi drivers. If you stay for a few days and have to take taxi often, get the taxi drivers number and call them for all trips, you will get discount.
